THE ELOISE MCKNIGHT SCHOLARSHIP

The Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota’s Eloise McKnight Scholarship.  The $500 scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding collegiate sister in the Chi A Province.  

The scholarship is named for charter member of the Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter, Eloise McKnight, who served as the first chapter president, from 1950-1951.  Ms. McKnight was active with the chapter for 35 years, and was known to be fiercely loyal to the chapter, attending all events and meetings, well into her elder years.
